Eurhythmics
Method and mission:
Inspiring students to interpret the sonic world physically
Studying and instructing eurhythmics has been pivotal in my understanding of time and music. I love sharing my passion of eurhythmics, and hope to inspire students though kinesthetic games and unique approaches to music fundamentals. By sensationalizing sound, we can understand, interpret, and live vocabulary to its fullest.

A Short history of Eurhythmics
The Eurhythmics method was founded by educator and musician, Γmile Jaques-Dalcroze, at the beginning of the 20th century. In a eurhythmics class, students examine kinesthetic experiences (such as musical games and playful stories) that are paired with aural direction. This joyful exploration deeply informs the musical mind, and allows musicians to live the music they hear. Rhythm, form, melodic and harmonic concepts can be translated onto a physical spectrum, and understood on a intrinsic level.
